Course Description

This one-day course will examine the EIA process, including EIAR review, mandatory assessment criteria, public participation and the identification of projects subject to EIA requirements. In the second half of the day, we will look at AA procedures, screening, and mitigation measures, (including comparisons with EIA, and the distinction between mitigation & compensation measures) with a focus on key concepts like 'adverse effects' and 'reasonable scientific doubt.'

By the end of this course, you will have gained a comprehensive understanding of EIA and AA processes, as well as crucial relevant case law in this area. This is a must attend for anyone looking to stay up to date in this ever-changing area.

Certification

Cost
