This course will focus on the Planning and Development Act 2024 with particular emphasis on environmental considerations necessary when applying for planning in Ireland. This course will highlight the legal and regulatory framework under the 2024 Act along with changes proposed for strategic development, environmental Impact Assessment and Appropriate Assessment as well as the impact of a recent Irish judgement on Climate law. This course acts as a necessary tool for you to leave with a greater understanding of the legal and regulatory framework necessary for your projects, where to find them and how to interpret them.
