Richard is a Chartered Geologist with specialized experience in environmental management and risk assessments, including contaminated land assessment and remediation, groundwater and ground gas monitoring/reporting, hydrogeological modelling, geophysical and geochemistry expertise in subsurface contamination investigations. Richard is a IGI Registered Professional Qualified Geoscientist and Competent Person (in respect of environmental risk assessment for regulated and unregulated waste disposal and contaminated land). Currently, Richard is an expert contaminated land consultant for Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, England to assist the Environmental Health team for planning applications. Richard is also involved with groundwater feasibility projects, groundwater abstraction projects for residential and commercial properties.
