Course Description

Know the Risks & How to Responsibly Implement AI into your Workplace

AI is changing the workplace, but its use must be ethical, compliant, and aligned with Irish and EU law. There are many benefits to introducing AI into your organisation, but unregulated use can come with serious consequences, and leaders must be prepared in this ever-changing landscape.

This one-day online course will give you the tools to understand the legal landscape, ethical risks, and practical tools needed to develop and implement a responsible AI policy in your workplace, from a leadership perspective. Attendees will leave with the practical knowledge to create and implement an AI policy for their organisation, understand what the EU AI Act means for you, and manage the risks associated with using AI tools in the workplace, helping lock down valuable information to your organisation.

Pre-Requisites

  • Attendees should have some basic experience working with available AI tools.
  • Attendees should have access to some form of AI to complete tasks, for example: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, or any LLM (Large Language Model). This can be a free or paid version.
  • It's recommended that the AI tool be on a laptop/PC and not on your phone, so that you can easily transfer AI-generated text to Word docs for further editing of policies.
